Our friendship began in college and continued throughout our lives. Suz also became close to my parents who would visit her in NYC when they came up from VA. One thing I loved about Suz was that she could be both incredibly fun and free spirited and also be a serious, deep thinker. She also genuinely cared about the lives of her friends. When we talked or saw each other throughout the years, she would insist on hearing about me and the family before I could hear anything about her and Dylan. And watching Suz with Dylan was just wonderful. To see how happy she was when she was pregnant with Dylan (photo in Central Park) to all she did throughout the years to give Dylan an amazing home and life. Just this past May, Suz was so proud when Dylan got accepted to the American Ballet texting me with pictures and letting me know it happened on her “very first audition!” I continue to be shocked and heartbroken. I will miss my dear friend greatly and do all I can to keep her memory with us. Suz — you will forever be deep in my heart.
